A small community of 260 people. Fayetteville has a charming town square with a historic precinct courthouse, restaurants, art galleries, shops, antique stores, gas stations, bank, ATM, Catholic, Lutheran and Brethren Churches and a show site on the square.
County seat of Fayette County with a population of 4,500. The charming Town Square features a newly restored County Courthouse surrounded by restaurants and shops. La Grange has multiple gas stations, churches, St. Marks Hospital, and a new Super Wal-Mart.
The largest of the area communities with 16,000+ residents. Brenham has all types of accommodations, restaurants, services, Lowes, Home Depot, Starbucks, Wal-Mart Supercenter, banks, movie theater, day spa, and is the home of Texas' famous Blue Bell Ice Cream (open for tour on weekdays).
Located on IH-10 at SH-77, Schulenburg has a population of over 2,800. Gas stations, hotels, motels, B&B's, restaurants, shops, grocery stores and banks can all be found here.
Located on IH-10 at SH-95, Flatonia has a population of over 1,300. Gas stations, hotels, motels, B&B's, restaurants, shops, grocery stores and banks can all be found here.
With a population over 3,600, Columbus is the county seat of Colorado County. At the intersection of IH-10 and SH-71. The charming Courthouse Square has shops and banks. The community has several restaurants and motels near IH-10, a Wal-Mart, two grocery stores and many churches.
Although one of the towns furthest from the show sites, Bastrop boast easy access from Austin-Bergstrom airport, with easy access onto SH-71 to SH-159/237 which leads directly to most shows. Bastrop is a larger city, over 7,300 population, with lots of accommodations of all types, restaurants, shops, gas stations, grocery stores and other service businesses.
